Along my travels in Puglia, I had the pleasure of meeting some very colourful characters, who embodied the passionate spirit of the region. Allow me to introduce a few of them to you...

1.Giuseppe Tangaro, a famous artist from Andria who's still painting prolifically in his old age

2.Signor Longo, wine producer and musician who invited us into his country home

3.Mussel man, who insisted that we sample the freshness of his recent catch in Bari market

4.Gianni Ciardo, a famous comedian who we chatted to after his show in Polignano a Mare

5.Antique dealer in Barletta, who serenaded me with a song from the days of old
