Mums of every age

I shot some portraits (for the Mother's Day issue of Sunday Life magazine) of 2 women - Melanie and Hayley - who became first-time mothers at different stages of their lives (Melanie is 26, Hayley 17). I had imagined that the mums might relate differently to their babies based on the fact that they were almost a decade apart in age, but it became clear to me through my observations of them that maternal love transcends age.
